Meet Sydney
My name is Sydney, and my goal is to serve others with the experience God has given me. As a musician I perform, arrange, and compose songs. As an author I write short stories, devotionals, songs (and pretty much everything). As a follower of Jesus Christ, I seek to do His will in all I say and do.
I have been playing the piano since I was five years old, studying under several professors. While I have been classically trained, I play a variety of styles. I also compose and arrange piano pieces. I have won multiple local and state competitions and have placed in the top three in the National Fine Arts Competition. As a teacher, I have taught several students since 2024 and have enjoyed seeing them grow in their musical abilities.
Even as a kid I enjoyed writing, and my love for the craft has only grown. I have received several awards for writing, including state merits in several categories and top 10 at the National Fine Arts Festival, including top 3 in Flash Fiction. There are few things more rewarding than seeing someone moved by a story, and whether I contribute to that as a writer or as an editor, I consider the work well worth it.
